I know when it comes to morning time, I need that fresh cup of coffee. There are times where I need to spice it up and find a new blend to try. Recently I found a subscription box called Bean Box that send you four brews each month.
How this subscription box works is that you receive 4 expertly-curated coffees every month for $16.50. Each bag that is in this box has 1.8oz tasting format. This can brew 4-6 cups per coffee, 16-24 cups total. After you choose your subscription, it gives you the choice of what roast and if you would like it ground or not.
The first blend of coffee that was in the box was their Kuma Coffee and Ethiopia Agaro Dera. The description of this coffee is: Agaro Dera dares ya to find a sweeter, fruiter washed Ethipian coffee. Gore Dako is a brand new coop, and this is their first crop available stateside. We're loving it sugary, honey vanilla sweetness and layer of tropical fruits and flavors. This is a light roast which is popular in my household. You will be able to notice Cantaloupe, Mango, Hibiscus, and Honey.
The next blend that was in the box was their Johnson House Been. This coffee was by Broadcast Coffee. This is a medium roast which has a rich flavor. This was name for where the roaster's father used to broadcast on the radio. The creator wanted to make this cup of coffee to bring you joy. The notes of this coffee are Baker's Chocolate, Toffee and Nostalgia.
The third bag that was in this box was their Roaster's Choice. This was a bold with a real kick, but polished and refined like a gentleman. This blend is a full-bodied blend of Ethiopian, Latin and Sumatran beans has been a local cafe favorite for over 25 years. This blend is for people who love dark roast. This blend is bold, rich, complex and clean.
The las bag in the box was their Brazil Canaan Estate. This blend was from Fork Roasters. They nicknamed this cup of excellence contender the "cookie dough coffee" because of its distinct sweet cookie flavor. This has a rich, smooth body and perfectly balanced tastiness. What you will notice in this coffee is that it's nutty, chocolate and brown sugar.
I enjoyed learning about each blend that was in this box. You also have a chance visiting their website and ordering a whole bag of that blend. I like trying new blends and this is perfect for that. They give you the opportunity to try smaller bags, so you don't have to purchase a new big bag. This is great if you don't like it, than you won't have to have a big bag of it.
